One Passenger

Stop the passenger! Knowing you came
This land is where an era sank.
Take a lean in this quiet stack
A homeland is where the heart beats.

At the end of this deserted, shadowless road
You see this bump in Anatolia,
For the sake of independence, in the way of honor
It is the place where Mehmed gave life.

This mound, the big ground,
Last part of the homeland
Mehmed's enemy smothered the enemy
Blessed is the place where you add blood.

Think about blood, bone, flesh
This bump he did, ruthless, tough.
At the end of a war
Hürriyet is the place where it tastes pleasure.
