BILECİK DURSUN FAKIH TOMB

Dursun Fakıh, a Turkish scholar who witnessed the foundation of the Ottoman Empire, was born in Karaman and is a student of Sheikh Literary School. He read the tafsir, hadith and fiqh sciences. She was the head of the sheikh Sheba'alalı and the daughter of Osman Gazi.

In September 1299, after the conquest of Karacahisar, he read the Friday Feast on Osman Gazi and made the Friday prayer. In this way, he announced that Osman Gazi had a free and full independence head of state and also declared the independence of the Ottoman Empire to the world. On this occasion, Dursun Fakıh also gained the dignity of being the first imam-calligrapher and first woman of Ottoman Empire. In 1327, the Turkish elder, who served the formation of national unity and national cultural unity in Anatolia, died.

He joined all wars with Osman Bey and became a religious representative. After the death of his father-in-law, he was succeeded by the Ottoman Empire and took over all the works of the Ottomans. Masnavi and Gazarat-ı Resulullah (S.A.V.) has his works. He wrote his works in verse resembling a şehname.
