The Caves of Bazdan are 15 km from Harran-Han el-Ba'rur road. from the beginning of the road on both sides of the historic stone quarries are located. Basda caves are on the right of the road at 19.km. It is known and known as "Bazda", "Albazdu", "Elbazde" or "Bozdag Caves". It is the most important and most beautiful stone quarry in the region. Large cavities were formed on the facades of the mountain which was spread over a wide area. From the Arabic inscriptions written in the rocks, it is understood that this quarry was operated in the 13th century by the people such as "Abdurrahman al-Hakkâri", "Muhammad İbn-i Bakır", "Muhammed el-'Uzzar". As a result of hundreds of years of stones for Harran, Şuayp and Han el-Ba'rur structures, there have been many squares, tunnels and galleries in both caves. Particularly the big one was carved in two floors in places and the heights of which were reaching to 10-15 meters in height were formed. In addition, through the long galleries and tunnels, the exit towards the various aspects of the mountain has been provided.
